On our way!

The to-do lists are completed, the banks have been called, the bags are (mostly) packed, and we're nearly ready to go! In less than 12 hours our journey will begin...I leave from Raleigh-Durham, Joel leaves from Boston, and we meet in Chicago for our flight to Hong Kong. This stop is actually a little vacation--we're visiting my friend Matthew and enjoying the sights (and apparently great food!) before diving into work in Manila. I have done next to no planning for this phase of the trip, so am looking forward to being spontaneous...with great company, of course!
