Tell me how you really feel
When you spend nearly a full day in the company of children, you can expect to get a little bit of contradictory feedback. See Exhibits A, B and C:
"I want to stay with Leah!"--2-year-old, being hauled off to day care while I stayed at home with her 4-year-old sister.
"I hate you!"--aforementioned 4-year-old, after I forbid her to do something (couldn't tell you what!) at the park.
"I wish you were my sister or something."--9-year-old, during our 9th hour together this week. (Good thing we like each other!)
It's been a fun day, but I am exhausted! I'll post something more substantive later this weekend. :)
